Your Right to Data Deletion

At MathPath, we respect your privacy rights. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and associated account information at any time. This page explains how you can request data deletion and what to expect from the process.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed:

  • Account profile information (name, email, grade level)
  • Learning progress and mastery data
  • Practice session history and question responses
  • Saved preferences and settings
  • Authentication credentials

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data using either of the following methods:

Method 1: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@mathpath.top with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your full name
  • Confirmation that you want to delete your account and all associated data

Method 2: Contact Form

Contact us through our support channels with your deletion request. Please provide sufficient information to verify your identity and account ownership.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. This may involve confirming information associated with your account or responding to a verification email.

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving and verifying your request. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. Some data may be retained for longer periods where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records), but this will be limited to the minimum necessary and handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

Data Retention Exceptions

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data even after a deletion request:

  • Data required for legal compliance or regulatory obligations
  • Data necessary for resolving disputes or enforcing agreements
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you
  • Data maintained in backup systems until scheduled deletion cycles

Important Notes

  • Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all learning progress and achievements
  • Deleted accounts cannot be recovered
  • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion
